What You’ll Be Responsible for:
• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with Devs to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

• At least 4 years of working experience in manual testing
• Can communicate in Japanese (N2 up)
• Knowledge of QA testing methodologies and the test lifecycle
• Experience working with bug management systems (i.e. JIRA, Mantis, etc.)
• Understanding of how websites and mobile applications are developed and function
• Ability to clearly communicate software issues and behavior to development, product management,
operations
• Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance
• May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing
activities or objectives
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• May represent the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement.
