- The position holder is to provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities including but not limited to:
- Drafting and negotiating contracts including but not limited to those related to company’s projects
- Advising on general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company
- To anticipate and manage the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations (copyright, data information)
- To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations
- Legal research
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on tax obligations, trademark laws, AML regulations, and other relevant areas.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the e-commerce industry
- Tax compliance
- Advise on and ensure the company's compliance with local and international tax obligations.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors as needed
- Trademark Management
- Manage trademark registration and enforcement processes
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and assess potential infringement risks.
- AML Compliance
- Develop and implement AML policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with AML laws and regulations.
- Contract Review and Drafting:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, licensing agreements, and partnerships
- Dispute Resolution
- Assist in the resolution of legal disputes, including negotiations and, if necessary, collaborating with external legal counsel
- Corporate Governance
- Provide guidance on corporate governance matters
- Assist in the preparation of board materials and corporate filings

- Strong legal experience in general corporate, commercial and/or IP practices in Vietnam
- Willing and ability to research international laws
- Highly ethical, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to coordinate with international legal counsels and work in a dynamic environment
- Fluent in both spoken and written Vietnamese and English
