We are looking for a skilled Lab Operations Engineer with a background in the automotive industry and strong expertise in ISO 17025 standards. This position is responsible for the operational management, maintenance, and quality assurance of lab equipment, as well as developing and refining procedures, documentation, and standards to ensure the lab achieves and maintains ISO 17025 accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain lab testing and calibration equipment, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Establish and refine testing and calibration processes in line with ISO 17025 and other relevant automotive standards.
- Develop and update procedural documents, operational manuals, and maintenance guides to ensure all lab activities comply with international quality standards.
- Supervise testing operations and analyze results to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in error assessment, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to create and implement periodic calibration and quality evaluation plans for lab equipment.
- Ensure the lab meets the requirements for internal and external audits to maintain ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Train and guide new employees on lab operational processes and standards.
