ABOUT THE JOB

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced automation testing frameworks to ensure operational efficiencies across the product team.
• Define, develop, execute, and maintain complex automated end-to-end test cases and use-case scenarios for continuous deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and provide expertise in test case design.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate automated testing activities at a senior level.
• Debug, analyze, record, document, and track software issues based on end-to-end testing.
• Investigate the root causes of issues and continuously improve test coverage and regression testing at an advanced level.
• Track and report QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to improve the team’s performance.
• Define and perform various testing aspects like functionality, scalability, reliability, and product performance at a senior level.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree or college’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Programming or scripting experience with Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, Linux shell script, and SQL (at least 2 or more) at an advanced level.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced automated testing frameworks.
• Extensive experience in testing cross-browser GUI applications and REST APIs.
• In-depth exposure to functional and load testing frameworks/tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, Postman, JMeter, etc.
• Proven experience working in microservices, Container, and Cloud environments at a senior level.
• Advanced knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum development teams at a senior level.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to lead, self-manage time, and deliverables.
