Test cases generation, review and update

• Test cases generation based on the component and system design specification documents for functional and integration validation.
• Review of test cases and updating of test cases based on the component, network and diagnostic specifications.
• Automation test script generation for HiL and vehicle level validation.

HiL/LabCar for component/system level testing & validation

• Configuration of the HiL/LabCar (NI Veristand/Dspace/ETAS) for the component/system level validation.
• Test plan preparation for the HiL/LabCar testing based on the test specifications.
• Test setup preparation using the vehicle components like ECUs, Sensors, Actuators and Wiring Harness.
• Automation and simulation for HIL/lab car testing.
• Test cases execution, data analysis and report generation.
• Failure test cases RCA and issue tracking/management.

Vehicle level testing and validation

• Test setup preparation on the vehicle level test cases execution.
• Test plan preparation for the vehicle level testing and validation.
• Coordination with the test facility providers for conducting vehicle level test at third party test facilities.
• Test cases execution, data analysis and report generation.
• Failure test cases RCA and issue tracking/management.

Leadership responsibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics / Automotive Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 6+ year of experience with minimum of 3+ years in automotive software testing.
• Minimum 2 years experience in leadership role.
• Experience in working for OEM is a plus.
• Deep knowledge IVN (In-Vehicle Networking) including CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay and Diagnostics
• Experience in automotive component development/testing.
• Good at using software testing tools, electrical tools, and instruments.
• Good experience with some common automotive industry tools from Vector (Canoe, CANoe DiVa,...)/NI Veristand/dSPACE/TraceTronic, etc.
• Have experience in C/C++/CapL/Python.
• Solid know-how of EE Network Architecture.
• ISO 26262 overview will be an added advantage.
• Solid software testing knowledge, good test plan development, execution, tracking, and summarizing capabilities.
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills for giving solution on the E/E issues/failures.
• Tool experience as Jira/Code beamer/IBM Door/IBM ELM.
• Good communication skills and team cooperation ability to work closely with both internal and external customers as well as the internal design team at the same time.
• Good documentation skills.
• Good English skills: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
